The Town of Estoril has been the chosen place to accommodate this year’s Festival (Sep. 23 - Sep 30, 2010).

Estoril stands in one of Europe's most beautiful coastlines, the once called “Portuguese Riviera”, located between Lisbon (30 minutes by train) and Cascais, and very close to Sintra and Cabo da Roca (Continental Europe Westernmost point, "where the land ends and the sea begins").

Accommodation will be in Hotel Apartment Clube do Lago, where services both in English and Portuguese will be held. In addition, we will have prayer meetings, bible study, a tour, and group activities, not forgeting some free time; After all, Lisbon is just 30 minutes away, and worth more than one visit.

To calculate the total amount you will have to spend for this Festival, you have to choose a type of apartment, and then add the extra cost amount.

Rates are per apartment and per night (Bed & Breakfast). To make your calculations easier, you already have the value for the 8 nights.

In case you wish to stay less or more than the 8 days, please ask us about that possibility.

You may arrive / depart on different dates than the Festival's start and end dates. The 8 nights we have quoted run from the 22nd to 30th. The prices we have agreed with the hotel management are the same if you arrive some days before or if you depart some days later so you just need to add the price of each additional day you wish to stay. You may also book later using these same group prices.

Extra beds cost 12 Euros for children up to 12 years, and 24 Euros for ages over 12.

The following extra costs are per person. They are required in order to pay 4 group lunches, the conference room rental, an entire day tour (visiting museums and monuments), and other organizational expenses.

In case you wish to apply for the Festival, you will have to fill a Registration Form. It is available for download as Word document using the link below - or - it can be sent to you via email or postal address.

Twenty five percent (25%) of the total value of your stay will have to be paid during the registration process so that we can reserve your apartment(s) in the hotel. This can be done by Bank Transfer or MoneyOrder; More details available in the Registration Form.

Services will be held mainly during mornings, and other activites such as Bible studies and fellowships, during afternoons.

There will be one day without services, in which a tour (probably to Mafra) will be organised. We are also thinking about two or three free afternoons, so people will have time to visit Lisbon (30 minutes by train), Cascais (4 minutes by train) or any other place, on their own.

The Festival Programme will be provided as soon as available.

Besides the 4 meals which are included on the Festival package, you can eat at several restaurants around the hotel within a short walking distance (3 to 10 minutes). Prices at the restaurants and take-aways range from 10 to 15 Euros and the selection of restaurants is quite good.

Recommended restaurants will be at printed at our Festival booklet which will be given upon arrival. You may also prepare your own meals at your apartment if you wish to do so.

We expect the Brethren to arrive Wednesday (September 22th) during the afternoon or early evening. Transportation to the hotel will not be provided.

A taxi directly to the hotel will be the best option. We think a maximum value of 40 EUR is to be expected during the rush hour. If you prefer, the Hotel can send a taxi to the airport for pickup - please let us know. Another option is to take a taxi to the train station (around 10 EUR), and then take the train to Estoril (1.5 EUR).

We think most of the Brethren will leave early Thursday evening, or Friday morning. However, if you wish to stay few more days, there won't be any problem, as long as you mention it in your registration form.

Again, as in the arrivals, a transportation to the airport will not be provided, but we will give you any information and assistance needed.
